No Perfection

Too often, I get bogged down in blogging perfection. Why wait to craft the perfect words when just a simple conversation with you will do?

Lately, I’ve thought a lot about who God is and what He is able to do.

“He who forms the mountains,
    who creates the wind,
and who reveals his thoughts to mankind,
who turns dawn to darkness,
and treads on the heights of the earth—
the Lord God Almighty is his name.”  Amos 4:13 (NIV)

And yet, with all that He has done in all of creation and with all that He is doing, when we cry out to Him, He listens. He responds, too, because He is God and He can be anywhere at any time and everywhere at all of the time. Also, He loves us.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted,
and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed.”  Psalm 34:18 (NCV)

Merging this understanding of God with everyday messages from readers makes miracle moments with Him very real. Here are a few examples:

  1. The young teenager in California who prayed for heart healing because of the stress she was under for a major exam. God answered, and gave her peace.
  2. The woman in Pennsylvania whose own heart was healed while reading The Heart Healer and now she is carrying this message throughout her city.
  3. The retired author/minister in Texas who received heart healing and is now inspired to return to ministry to reach others with God’s message of healing.

What’s your story? If you don’t have one yet, you will, because Almighty God is very real and very ready to respond to our appeals for help. We just need to be aware and ready to turn to Him in moments of crisis. Won’t you join me?
