We usually tend to accept what pain does to us as normal. We file our hurtful memories away in our hidden heart closets marked “Brave and Strong” and assume that if we don’t think about them, they won’t bother us.

The truth is, these things still impact how we think and act. What has become normal to us is quietly exhausting us, causing anxiety, anger, and panic attacks, and it’s making us sick.

God has a better plan. He wants to give us a new normal with healing for our past. In The Heart Healer we learn how much the Lord loves us and how ready He is to change our lives.

The extent of pain in this world is very broad, but the stroke of God’s healing hand is supreme and broader still.
