I am no stranger to trauma. Tragic illnesses, family divorces, personal failures, business losses, children’s diseases, the death of loved ones, and even planned suicide are much too familiar. During the year of my most intense heartache, I hid behind a mask of bravery and stayed strong throughout each day—except on Friday nights. That’s when I would hide in the bathroom behind sounds of the shower and sob for a very long time, releasing all my pent-up agony for the week.

No one knew.

Heartache and heartbreak piled one on another, but then, there’s GOD. For every tragic occurrence—for every piercing wound in my soul—God carried me through. In time, He divinely healed the pain from each memory, gently replacing it with peace. Does God have this same healing and resulting calm available to everyone? The resounding  answer is: “Yes!”

For those experiencing stress and heartache, please know The Heart Healer is about HOPE and HEALING. It’s about a simple prayer God responds to in a magnificent way. There IS One who absolutely loves us—One we can count on to make the pain all better. He is the Great Physician, Almighty God, Jehovah Rapha, who listens when we pray, and is certain to respond.

He loves us all, no matter what we’ve ever
done and no matter what has been done to us.
